<p class="Pa26" style="text-align: justify; page-break-before: always; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Garamond;"><span style="color: black; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">T</span><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">he knowledge of the grapevine phenology is of great usefulness in the managing of the vineyard, allowing us to apply the plat protective measures in the phenology stages in which grapevine is more vulnerable to the attack of the different diseases.</span></span>/n<p class="Pa26" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Garamond;"><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">In this study the phenological behavior and the thermal requirements of the Treixadura variety in the denomination of origin Ribeiro (Ourense, Spain) were described. </span><span style="color: black; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">T</span><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">he work has been carried out in a vineyard situated in Cenlle during the year 2008. Observations have been conducted on 20 plants and the phenology scale standardized by the </span><span style="color: black; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">BB</span><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">CH has been applied. During the flowering stage, pollen production has been calculated in terms of pollen production by anther and by plant. </span><span style="color: black; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">F</span><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">inally the º</span><span style="color: black; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">B</span><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">rix quantification has been taking into account as a measure of the fruits ripeness.</span></span> /n<p class="Pa26" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Garamond;"><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">The vegetative cycle, considered as the period of time from the beginning of the sprouting to the vintage, lasted 194 days with an accumulation of 1,160 GDA. </span><span style="color: black; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">T</span><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">he average production of pollen by anther was 4,216 pollen grains, reaching a value of 34,744,936 pollen grains produced by plant. </span></span> <p class="Pa26" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond;"><span style="font-family: Garamond;">El conocimiento de la fenología de la vid es de gran utilidad en el manejo del viñedo, permitiendo realizar los tratamientos fitosanitarios en los estadios fenológicos que la vid es más vulnerable a las distintas enfermedades.</span></span>/n<p class="Pa26" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Garamond;"><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond;">En este estudio se describen el comportamiento fenológico y los requerimientos térmicos de la variedad </span><span style="color: black; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond;">T</span><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond;">reixadura en la Denominación de Origen Ribeiro (Ourense, España). Se ha llevado a cabo en un viñedo localizado en Cenlle durante el año 2008. Las observaciones se han realizado sobre 20 cepas y la escala fenológica utilizada ha sido la estandarizada por la BBCH. Durante el estadio de la floración, se ha estudiado la producción de polen por antera y cepa. </span><span style="color: black; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond;">F</span><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond;">inalmente, se ha utilizado la evolución de º</span><span style="color: black; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond;">B</span><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond;">rix como medida de la maduración de los frutos.</span></span> /n<p class="Pa26" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="color: #211d1e; font-size: 9pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Garamond;"><span style="font-family: Garamond;">El ciclo vegetativo, considerando desde el inicio de la brotación hasta la vendimia, se desarrolló en 194 días durante los cuales se acumularon 1.160 GDA. La producción media de polen por antera fue de 4.216 granos de polen, alcanzándose una media de 34.744.936 granos de polen por cepa.</span></span>
