Colombia: reconstrucción de la esfera pública y voto cívico-independiente

Abstract

[ES] Frente a la exclusión tradicional generada por el bipartidismo colombiano emergen nuevas mentalidades y reacciones colectivas expresadas en el crecimiento del voto cívico independiente, reflejo de una pérdida de las lealtades y sentimientos de pertenencia. Además, la actual oposición interna al gobierno alienta un proceso de recuperación de la esfera pública liberal que brinda oportunidades para la acción de nuevos agentes sociales que buscan un nuevo orden democrático.

[EN] In reaction to the traditional exclusion provoqued by Colombian bipartitism, we can notice the rising of new mentalities and social conflicts, which hace produced an increment of the so-called "civicindependent" vote. This trend is a reflection of the disolution of the loyalties to the old parties system. Moreover, the present internal oposition to the government provoqued a reactivating process of the public liberal sphere and opens some new opportunities for the action of new social agents in search of a new democratic status.
