Abstract

[ES] El objetivo de esta tesis doctoral es conocer la evolución de la encuadernación desde 1498 hasta 1601 y estudiar los elementos ornamentales que constituyen el arte manuelino hasta la segunda mitad del siglo XX.

[EN] The aim of this thesis is to understand the evolution of bookbinding from 1498 to 1601 and study the ornamental elements that constitute the Manueline art until the second half of the twentieth century.
