2. Abstract: The data consist of the responses of 182 secondary school teachers of Spanish language and literature to a questionnaire on the teaching of grammar and discourse in their classrooms. It includes metadata (age, gender, years of teaching experience, university education, autonomous community of employment) and 23 quantitative and qualitative questions regarding the emphasis placed on teaching grammar in their Spanish language classes, and the impact this teaching approach has on students’ written work.
