<summary type="text">The programme book of the the First International Conference “Audiogenic Epilepsy: from Animal Models to the Clinic” contains the proceedings and contributions made by researchers at the conference. The Congress was held at the Neuroscience Institute of Castilla y León (INCyL), Salamanca, Spain, from September 9th – 12th, 2014 and focused on a broad spectrum of cutting-edge epilepsy research and technologies. During the conference, we had the opportunity to enjoy with excellent and internationally well-recognized keynote speakers. This Congress was intended to be a consolidated forum for multidisciplinary interaction between basic research and clinical scientists, working at the genetic-molecular, cellular, and behaviour levels. Of special interest were the main topics of the Congress: reflex epilepsies, audiogenic seizure models, genetic models of epilepsy, antiepileptic drugs, and human epilepsies
