Three of them are new for Ourense province (Bidens frondosa L., Oxalis articulata Savigny y Selinum carvifolia (L.) L. subsp. broteri (Hoffgg. &amp; Link) Laínz). Four of them are the second cite in Ourense province, and the rest have an important increase of their distribution, mainly in the S and SW of this province.

<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/56366</link>
<description>We have selected 37 species of dangerous invasive vascular plants living in continental Portugal. We present tables resuming the main informations related to these species: region of origin, phytotype, kind of synanthropic plant, kind of introduction, way of propagation, year of discovery or first mention as a subspontaneous plant, number of provinces in which a species is found, number of invasive species found in every province. We comment some of these characteristics and try to answer to some questions like: why do some provinces have a bigger number of invasive species than others, and what are the features which make a species invasive.

<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/56355</link>
<description>After a brief introduction on the geological, hydrological and climatic characteristics, the authors describe the results of a phytosociological study concerning riparian and aquatic vegetation of the lower-middle Merse river (southern Tuscany, central Italy). Purpose of the contribution is to further knowledge on the syntaxonomy, ecology and dynamics of river vegetational communities in southern Tuscany. The paper outlines a rather complex syntaxonomy scheme pointing out the vegetation abundance of the section of the river studied. In fact, coenosis belonging to 12 different phytosociological classes were identified: Querco-Fagetea, Salicetea purpureae, Rhamno-Prunetea, Rosmarinetea officinalis, Molinio-Arrhenatheretea, Artemisietea vulgaris, Isoeto-Nanojuncetea, Bidentetea tripartitae, Agrostietea stoloniferae, Phragmito-Magnocaricetea, Potamogetonetea pectinati, Charetea fragilis. High environmental quality was evidenced by floristic and synecological analysis of the community. Due to the low presence of human activity, hydrophytic community indicating oligotrophic aquatic environment, high phytocoenotic diversity, floristically, structurally and ecologically well characterized tree/shrub population were found.

<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/56358</link>
We present a structural and morphological description of fruits and seeds of the evergreen buckthorn, Rhamnus alaternus. The evergreen buckthorn fruits have a great variability on volume (mean ± s.e. = 192,77 ± 47,21 mm3) and weight (240,15 ± 59,14 mg), being the pulp the most important fraction both of volume and dry mass. Endocarps and seeds represent the 19% of fruit global mass. Fruits have 3,10 ± 0,09 endocarps with a range of 2-5 endocarps. 95% of endocarps presented one developed seed inside with a total of 2,93 ± 0,03 seeds/fruit. The seeds obtained from naturally opened endocarps have a major level of viability than those from closed endocarps. The seeds present an elaiosome that represents 4,05% of the total seed mass. Diaspore assemblages could influence on dispersal biology of R. alaternus, where vertebrates and ants take part as seed dispersers for attraction of the fleshy fruits and seeds, respectively.

<title>Plantas medicinales españolas: Rosmarinus officinalisL. (Lamiaceae) (romero)</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/56360</link>
Finalmente, se tratan algunos aspectos de la formulación.; The present monographic of Rosmarinus officinalis L. contains the botanical description of the plant, ecology, corology, growing, gathering and the drug conservation. The morphological and anatomical microscopic characteristics of the oficinal organs are analysed, after that, these knowledges are applied to the plant fragments. The therapeutical applications are studied once its chemical composition and its pharmacological action are analised. We have made reference to its possible toxicology, to its contraindications and to its quality control. Finally, some formulation aspects are dealed whith.
