The study of the colour, lines and composition of the maps that appear in the Respuestas Generales of the Catastro de Ensenada and the sketches sent by the pastors of the different Spanish cities to the geographer Tomás López, in this article I analyse.; Frente al trazo gris que define los espacios de convivencia, públicos y privados, y el blanco que nos traslada al espacio marginal, improductivo o inaccesible, nos encontramos en estas imágenes con el color verde que actúa de vehículo de expresión de esa sensibilidad remota –casi mágica– que vincula al hombre con la naturaleza. Mediante el estudio del color, trazo y composición de los planos insertos en las Respuestas Generales del Catastro del Marqués de la Ensenada y los croquis enviados por los párrocos de las distintas localidades españolas al geógrafo Tomás López, se pretende analizar la particular relación que se establece entre el binomio arquitectura-naturaleza en el siglo XVIII en el ámbito de las representaciones mentales. Extensive knowledge and assimilation of European culture of the Enlightenment allowed him to associate the historical experience of the Catalan capital with modern values. It was not a simple varnish, since the defense of Barcelona as the focus of progress was constructed from documented empirical data and sensory impressions, according to the principles preached by the great British philosophers against speculative rationalism and its incessant occurrences.; En su tiempo, Antonio de Capmany (1742-1813) fue el intelectual más destacado al servicio de los intereses de Barcelona, dentro de una voluntad por articular la evidente energía de esa ciudad con los esfuerzos desplegados por el despotismo ilustrado para relanzar a España como una potencia continental y colonial. Un amplio conocimiento y asimilación de la cultura europea de la Ilustración le permitieron asociar la experiencia histórica de la capital de Cataluña con los valores modernos. Huge sums of money were invested in the undertaking, one in which several leading figures of the day took part and which gave shape to a magnificent naval arsenal. It was, without question, an outstanding architectural and hydraulic engineering project that should be regarded as one of the most important of its kind to be carried out in 18th-century Europe.; Durante el mandato ministerial del marqués de la Ensenada se empezó a construir en la villa de Ferrol, con la aprobación del rey Fernando VI, el puerto de guerra más importante de España, obra en la que se gastaron sumas ingentes de dinero, en la que intervinieron destacadas personalidades de su tiempo y que dio forma a un magnífico arsenal de marina. Fue, sin duda, un proyecto arquitectónico e hidráulico de carácter excepcional que debe ser considerado entre los más importantes en su género de los llevados a cabo en la Europa del siglo XVIII. These results offer new perspectives to the study of the dramatic work of this playwright and his contribution to the theatrical development of Fernán González’s legendary life in Spanish heroic theatre of the 18th century.; En esta nota recopilamos brevemente la información bibliográfica de la comedia La conquista de Madrid por el rey don Ramiro y el conde Fernán González (Barcelona, imprenta de Pablo Nadal, 1797) y, tras revisar los estudios existentes sobre la cuestión, recuperamos esta pieza como obra de Manuel Fermín de Laviano. Ello aporta nuevas perspectivas de estudio sobre la obra del dramaturgo y su aportación al desarrollo teatral de la vida legendaria de Fernán González en el teatro heroico del siglo XVIII.
