Estructurado en tres apartados, en el primero presento y justifico el sujeto/objeto, el tema, la fuente y el período cronológico y la importancia historiográfica de los mismos. En el segundo apartado, se ubica la celebración del «Año Internacional de la Mujer» a nivel internacional y nacional, así como los motivos que justifican ésta conmemoración, los órganos seleccionados para la organización del evento y los enfoques desde los cuales fue planteado. Por último, se analiza la representación, imagen y discurso que la prensa recoge para este evento. En este punto se estudia la transcendentalidad y repercusión que tuvo para la sociedad «el año de la mujer» y como ésta percibió tanto desde la masculinidad como feminidad dicha conmemoración.; In this article it is analysed the commemoration, in 1975, of the «International Women's Year», focusing on the image and discourse that the Murcian regional newspaper La Verdad gathered about the said event. It is structured in three different sections. In the first one the subject of analysis, the source, the chronological period, and their historiographic importance are presented and justified. In the second section the celebration of the «International Women's Year» is placed at international and national levels, as well as the reasons that justify this commemoration, the organs selected for the organization of the event, and the approaches from which it was considered. Finally, the representation, image and discourse that the press collects for this event are analysed. At this point we study the repercussions that this «year» had on the Murcian and Spanish society, and how this one perceived the aforementioned commemoration, from both the masculinity and the femininity. In the mid-nineties Susan Moller Okin began questioning about it, giving rise to a debate that now seems highly topical as a result of the controversy over the veil. In France, the discussion proceeds with harsh tones that reveal the difficulty of reconciling liberal theories with behavioral patterns that arouse hostility, resentment, mistrust. In fact, the controversy over the veil hides other meanings which reveal the will to mark the female identity with sharp boundaries, as a part of the socio-anthropological borders over women's bodies. The report aims to investigate behind the positions taken, in order to understand which are the nodes of the dispute and why difference and xenophobia pass once again through the body of women, seen as a trench for the defense of values in deep opposition.; La categoria di genere ed il concetto di multiculturalismo possono convivere? Se lo chiedeva già a metà degli anni Novanta Susan Moller Okin, dando origine ad un dibattito che oggi appare di scottante attualità in conseguenza delle polemiche sul velo. In Francia la discussione procede con toni aspri che rivelano la difficoltà di far coincidere teorie libertarie con modelli comportamentali che suscitano ostilità, rancore, diffidenza. Nella realtà la diatriba sul velo nasconde altri significati che rivelano la volontà di marcare con confini precisi l'identità, sia da un parte che dall'altra del confine socio-antropologico. En Francia la discusión se desarrolla con tonos ásperos que revelan la dificultad que existe para conciliar las teorías libertarias con los patrones de conducta que despiertan la hostilidad, el resentimiento, la desconfianza. De hecho, la controversia sobre el velo, esconde otros significados que revelan la voluntad de marcar la identidad con límites claros de un lado y del otro de la frontera socio-antropológica. El artículo tiene como objetivo investigar acerca de las posiciones adoptadas en Europa sobre el velo con el fin de comprender cuáles son los nudos de la controversia y por qué las diferencias y la xenofobia pasan una vez más por el cuerpo de la mujer, entendido como una trinchera para la defensa de valores en oposición. In the present article we expose a bibliographical review on woman and Islam in order to understand the principal debates that they have been presenting in the scientific literature from a socio-educational perspective and the analysis that from them is extracted. For the location and selection of the scientific articles that will be analyzed in this study, we have used essentially five databases: Dialnet, ISOC, Francis, Education Research Complete and Eric. In spite of the diversity of prisms with which the topic is analyzed, one of the ideas that appears of form repeated in diverse texts is the importance that the Islam has had to improve the situation of the women in the Arabic companies. Different good is the fundamentalist interpretation that in many regions of the árabo-Moslem world has been done of the Islamic law, reducing the woman to a background.; La diversidad de realidades existentes respecto a la situación de la mujer en el mundo árabe hace que debamos abordar el tema con cierta cautela. En el presente artículo exponemos una revisión bibliográfica sobre mujer e Islam con el objeto de comprender los principales debates que se han ido presentando en la literatura científica desde una perspectiva socioeducativa y el análisis que de ellos se extrae. Para la localización y selección de los artículos científicos que serán analizados en este estudio, nos hemos valido, fundamentalmente, de cinco bases de datos: Dialnet, ISOC, Francis, Education Research Complete y Eric. But before Tunisia, Egypt, Libya or Syria, in 2003, the war in Iraq was considered the most important media conflict of the history. This invasion had apparently a live coverage by thousands of media posted there. In Spain, five women covered the invasion for the public television, TVE. Did they pay especial attention to women in their articles? Did they present different patterns comparing with the job of their male counterparts? To sum up: how «gendered» was their coverage?; Las recientes revoluciones en los países árabes han vuelto a poner de actualidad un área geográfica que en los últimos tiempos ha sido vista por el autodenominado «mundo occidental» con recelo y desconfianza. Pero antes de Túnez, Egipto, Libia o Siria, en el año 2003 asistimos al que es considerado el conflicto armado más mediático de la historia: la Guerra de Iraq. Su preludio, la invasión, fue seguido teóricamente «en directo» por miles de medios de comunicación allí desplazados. En España, frente a la aplastante mayoría de periodistas masculinos, cinco mujeres cubrieron la invasión para la televisión pública, TVE. Saber si lo hicieron de una manera diferenciada y si prestaron atención específica a las mujeres como actores de sus piezas (en suma, si ofrecieron una visión «generizada» del mes y medio de campaña) es el objetivo de este artículo.
