The elusive character of the tale accentuates the unbroken fascination over the centuries of Boccaccio's masterpiece, the object of multiple critical reinterpretations over time, triggered by the subtle ambiguities aroused by the underlying implicit texts, by the numerous paratexts incorporated or alluded to, especially the classics of the Greek-Latin tradition, or the coeval and earlier medieval references that multiply the possible interpretative approaches, each of which partially unveils the truth, but without ever illuminating it and fully clarifying the ultimate meaning of an exemplary tale.; Il contributo si propone di indagare la novella «Lisabetta da Messina» di Giovanni Boccaccio, la quinta della IV giornata del Decameron, tra le più note, per il carattere tragico-elegiaco che la connota, ma anche tra le più resistenti ad un'esegesi che esaurisca la sua profondità di senso e sciolga in via definitiva la natura stratificata che la ammanta. On the other hand, the differences between both languages are compared through conceptual metaphors. The tale of young maiden impregnated by the king of the Gods in form of a golden shower hints, among others, or at a most erotic spectacular relationship or at a divine miracle or an illicit act. Unravelling some of these strands maybe helps us to understand the patterns of the ancient myths toward sexualized violence and decipher the underlying educational ideology that, not only in the past, had governed works of didactic-literature and artistic activities.; Utilizzando il concetto di cultura dello stupro, configurato dalle femministe nel 1970, il contributo richiama l'attenzione su tre principali contesti: le irruzioni genitali sovrumane verso donne mortali ed immortali come temi ricorrenti della mitologia classica; il ruolo delle Fabulae di Igino nella società romana (i sec. a. C.-i sec. d. C.) e negli attuali licei italiani; una panoramica, nel quadro delle ricerche svolte, sulle strategie comunicative adottate dall'arte classica a quella contemporanea per il caso Danae.
