<title>Inovsafecare model: designing an educational model for innovative healthcare-associated infections prevention and control in nursing education.</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/156422</link>
<description>[EN] Given the current challenges regarding Healthcare-Associated Infection (HCAIs) prevention and control, a European&#13;
Consortium of Healthcare Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) proposed the development of a pedagogical model&#13;
comprised of innovative teaching and learning practices for nursing students - the InovSafeCare Model. This model&#13;
focuses on developing students` competencies in HCAIs prevention and control, facilitating the learning of current&#13;
best practice recommendations, encouraging critical reflection and the conceptualization of innovative solutions,&#13;
and contributing to the improvement of care quality and safety.

<title>A study of web content analysis on cultural heritage</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/153439</link>
<description>[EN] The following text presents a research project focusing on cultural&#13;
heritage through the Internet. The main goal of this study is to&#13;
identify the mechanisms used to spread the Spanish cultural&#13;
heritage through municipalities’ websites. It is well known that&#13;
cultural heritage represents one of the tourism industry bases,&#13;
which is very important to Spanish economy. However, cultural&#13;
heritage is also an element that helps to shape the social identity&#13;
of Spanish citizens. Thus, this research aims to carry out content&#13;
analysis of 500 websites, and then make a cultural portrait of our&#13;
society in the Digital Age.

<title>Development and Validation of a Digital Literacy Scale for Teenagers</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/138144</link>
<description>[EN]Research related to digital literacy has grown exponentially in recent years. Its importance is that some scholars suggest that digital skills are a prevention tool against the risks of digital technologies. These risks are especially important because of their psychological consequences on adolescents. Thus, digital literacy could be a health prevention tool. The purpose of this research was to develop and validate a scale to assess digital literacy on teenagers. A self-report questionnaire with 47 items measured in a 5-point Likert scale was developed. After a pilot study, the questionnaire was administered to a sample composed by 715 secondary school students from 13 schools in Spain, aged between 12 and 20 years. Exploratory factor analysis revealed the existence of six factors: technological skill, personal security skill, critical skill, devices security skill, informational skill and communication skill. The scale demonstrated support for internal consistency reliability in most of the factors, with Cronbach’s Alpha levels ranging from .63 to .75, and validity. Further research is needed to confirm the factor structure.

<title>Risks of Interactive Communication. A Digital Literacy proposal</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/138143</link>
<description>[EN]In recent years, adolescents have increased the use of interactive technologies. These children have more and more technological equipment and they commonly use interactive communication. This type of communication offers many possibilities and benefits to the users, but it also involves disadvantages and dangers that are of particular concern in the case of minors: exposure to pornography, cyberbullying, sexual harassment or grooming, sexting, contact with strangers… In this situation, we should not deprive adolescents of the use of digital technologies and interactive communication. The solution is to provide them with digital skills so they can use these tools safely. Therefore, this project aims to increase the digital skills of adolescents with a proposal for diagnosis and intervention of digital literacy. This project will be implemented through three phases. In the first phase we will make a survey to find the level of digital skills of children. To do this, we will create and validate a scale of digital skills. In the second phase we want to check if the digital literacy influences on the degree of gratification obtained with digital contents. To do this, we will conduct an experiment. The goal is to know if the process for getting children safer involves a restriction of the opportunities and advantages of the online world. Finally, in the third phase we will consider the results of the two previous studies to develop a mobile app to digitally literate. To develop this application we will build on the theories of persuasion and the strategy of entertainment-education. This last phase will be carried out by an experiment. Through it we would check if this application is effective for digitally literate, and more specifically, whether the narrative persuasion is effective for persuading and educating.

<title>Investigación y docencia sobre el documental cinematográfico al servicio de la cooperación y el desarrollo. Pozos y bicicletas, un ejemplo práctico</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/22623</link>
