<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/70288</link>
[EN] By collecting and analysing the rhetorical glosses of the Commentum Terenti attributed to Eugraphius, it is possible to reconstruct with a good level of accuracy the status-system employed by the commentator. This system is very similar, although not identical, to the system of thirteen issues also found in the Rhetores Latini Minores. This analysis allows us to appreciate the commentary as a whole and sheds light on the figure and the motivations of Eugraphius, both a commentator of Terentius and a professor of rhetoric.

<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/70287</link>
[EN] According to Tiberius Claudius Donatus, in the struggle between Pyrrhus and Priamus in the second book of Vergil's Aeneid the Trojan king causes of his own will the reactions of Achules' son, in order to be killed by him. His main weapon is the deformatio of Pyrrhus, a rhetorical device blaming not only Pyrrhus, but Achules too.

<title>Formación de la terminología retórica</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/70286</link>
[EN] Starting from the assumption that the specialised lexis of technical languages has a metaphorical origin, this paper focuses on the formation of rhetorical terminology. The first parí of this study is devoted to reviewing the metaphorical nature of classical rhetorical terminology, while in the second part, the author tries to find out what kind of criteria might have determined the choice of either Greek or Latin terms for the transmission of specific rhetorical contení. A hypothesis is advanced to account for the difference in the choice between Greek-rooted or Latin-rooted terms.

<title>Reciprocus - antanaklastos. Pronomi e participi tra grammatici e filosofi</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/70284</link>
[EN] This paper aims at studying the Greek word antanaklastos and its Latin translation reciprocus in grammatical context. After having analysed the use of both words in Priscian's treatment of reflexive pronouns (§1), we will discuss the entire lexical family of antanaklasthai both on its proper (§2.1) and in its metaphorical meaning (§2.2). This surveying will lead to a new interpretation of the single reference of antanaklastos to participle (§3) and to a reconsideration of the Stoic theory on this particular word-class (§4).

<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/70283</link>
[EN] Lucan's Pharsalia, as epic of the defeated, transforms the traditional valúes of this literary genre whose purpose is to celébrate heroic deeds. So the meaning of terms relative to victory is altered, due to a process of semantic change similar to the experimented by the terminology of uirtus. This paper tries to examine the words of this lexical field {uictoria, uincere, uinci, uictus, inuictus and, especially, uictor), in order to show the semantic particularities observed in the Pharsalia. For a definition as accurate as possible we will distinguish the usages of the narrator and those of the protagonists.
