<title>Some Reflections on the Suggestive Tablet H 6</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/73406</link>
<description>Whether from a methodological point of view the transliteration of Linear A text by applying the phonetic values of corresponding symbols of the Linear ? script is permissible is still a non-settled issue. In Documents already one finds the warning that reshuffling of phonetic values might have occurred in the creation of the latter script. Also the results obtained by the application of that method are contradictory, which may hold it in suspense. However, if the theory of Schachermeyr, supported by Hooker, on the Minoan creation of the Linear ? script, which obviously has its merits, is accepted, the likelihood of identity of the phonetic values of the symbols in both scripts is increased.

<title>On the Knossos Mc Tablets</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/73390</link>
<description>The Knossos Mc tablets, recorded by scribe 132, who seems to have written nothing else, are for the most part a homogeneous group of similar-sized documents [ca. 15 X 2,5 X 1,2 cm.), whose surface is divided into two identical spaces by a central rule.

<title>The Women of PY An 607</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/73384</link>
<description>Time and again, this notoriously difficult text has attracted the interest of mycenologists. There is no doubt that it could represent a most valuable source for our knowledge of Mycenaean society and probably of Mycenaean economy as well. But there are almost insurmountable difficulties which hinder a clear interpretation: out of the thirteen words which occur in this text, four are hapax legomena and two, although attested in other contexts, cannot be explained with certainty.

<title>La série Dn de Cnossos reconsidérée</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/73383</link>

<title>The Theban Stirrup-Jars and East Crete. Some Remarks</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10366/73381</link>
<description>A few years ago, H. W. Catling and A. Millett published a detailed report on the analysis of the composition of clay samples from the inscribed stirrup jars found at Thebes in 1921, conducted with the purpose of establishing their provenance. Some archeologists found the results surprising and there has been a certain amount of criticism to which the two authors have answered in a convincing and conclusive way.
