Confidencias de Unamuno a su médico de cabecera

Abstract

The professor of medicine Hipólito Rodríguez-Pinilla was the Unamuno’s family doctor when he came to Salamanca and his friend for forty years. The epistolary correspondence between them was abundant and long- term, but many of these letters are now of unknown whereabouts. The study collects singular thoughts expressed in this correspondence during important moments of the two writers’ lives and reproduces the letters they exchanged from the 2nd of July 1902 to the 30th of November of the same year.

El catedrático de Medicina don Hipólito Rodríguez-Pinilla fue médico de la familia Unamuno cuando éste llegó a Salamanca y gran amigo suyo durante cuarenta años. La correspondencia epistolar entre ambos fue larga y dura- dera aunque muchas de esas cartas se encuentren en paradero desconocido. Este trabajo recoge singulares pensamientos de ambos en momentos importantes de su vida, y reproduce las cartas que se cruzaron entre el 2 de julio de 1902 y el 30 de noviembre del mismo año.
