Misticismo y misterios. Reflexiones a propósito de la edición inglesa de un libro reciente

Abstract

This article, rather than being a mere review of the English edition of a recent outstanding book in the field of historiographical studies of oriental religions, uses the book as a central point around which to make an in-depth study of some of its contents, pointing out the more problematic aspects of these studies, both in terms of terminology and contents.

En este artículo no pretendo realizar una simple reseña de la edición inglesa de un libro reciente que destaca de manera significativa en el panorama historiográfico de los estudios sobre religiones orientales, sino que será el eje a través del cual intentaré profundizar y desarrollar algunos contenidos del mismo, poniendo de manifiesto algunos de los aspectos más problemáticos de estos estudios, tanto terminológicos como de contenidos.
