Resumen
[ES] La tiroplastia tipo I de Isshiki consiste en medializar la porción membranosa de
la cuerda vocal paralizada mediante una prótesis colocada por abordaje
externo.
Desde que fue descrita numerosas modificaciones de la técnica han aparecido
con el objetivo de agilizar y simplificar el procedimiento.
Creemos que nuestra modificación en el diseño de la prótesis de titanio
permite facilitar su fijación y aumentar su estabilidad.
[EN] The Isshiki thyroplasty type is the medialisation of the membranous portion of
the paralyzed vocal cord using a prosthesis placed by external approach.
Since It was described a lot of modifications of the technique have appeared in
order to streamline and simplify the procedure.
We consider that our modification in the design of the titanium prosthesis
allows easy fixing and increase its stability.
