Género y relato en la retórica del discurso persuasivo

Abstract

[ES] Probablemente, desde que el hombre tiene capacidad de comunicación, ha empleado la narración para transmitir información, para transmitir conocimiento y convencer. Desde las imágenes que adornaban las cavernas en la edad de piedra hasta los cuadros que colgaban de pinacotecas, palacios e iglesias; desde las parábolas bíblicas pasando por los sermones, las fábulas, los exempla o los cuentos hasta los eslóganes electorales y publicitarios de la actualidad, los discursos y los anuncios, todo está preñado de narratividad, para informar o para convencer, como germen de relato o como relato mismo, porque el sujeto accede al conocimiento del mundo a través de estructuras narrativas. Desde esta perspectiva, el siguiente artículo pretende mostrar cómo se aplica la técnica del relato en la retórica del discurso persuasivo. [EN] Probably, since the man has the ability of communication, has used stories to transmit information, to transmit knowledge and to convince the others. From the images which decorated the caverns in the Stone Age to the pictures showed in art galleries, palaces and churches, from the biblical parables to the sermons, fables, exempli or tales to the election and commercial slogans nowadays, speeches and advertisements, everything is full of storytelling, to inform or to convince, as the seeds of the story or as the story itself, because the subject gets to knowledge through narrative structures. From this view, the following article tries to show how it is put into practice the technique of story in the rhetorics of persuasive speech.
