Imaginario de la bohemia en «La Bohème» de Puccini

Abstract

[EN]This paper is intended to identify in Puccini’s opera La Bohème, the sources, devices and literary motifs used by the Bohemian authors writing in Madrid at the end of the 19th century. It will focus on such aspects as the stereotypes of the Bohemian world; the nature of the Bohemian, his traits, his struggles, his aspirations and the setting of his actions.

[ES]El objeto de este trabajo es señalar y reconocer en la ópera La Bohème del maestro Puccini las fuentes, los recursos y los motivos literarios que emplearan los autores bohemios del Madrid de finales del XIX. Cuál es el imaginario del mundo de la bohemia, quién es el bohemio y cómo es, qué representa y por qué lucha, cuáles son sus aspiraciones, cuáles son sus espacios de reunión.
