Mujeres y Guerra Civil: un balance historiográfico

Abstract

[ES] Este artículo se ocupa de las publicaciones que han analizado el papel de las mujeres en la Guerra Civil durante los diez últimos años. Estos trabajos han revelado la decisiva actuación de las féminas en ambos bandos, tanto en los frentes como en las retaguardias. La metodología y las fuentes propias de la historia local y de la historia oral han permitido un mejor conocimiento de la imagen, de la ideología, y de las inquietudes de las mujeres, aparte de las diversas funciones desempeñadas en la contienda. En general han predominado los estudios sobre mujeres republicanas, famosas y anónimas, debido al interés por recuperar la labor de las vencidas y por los discursos emancipadores e igualitarios que se desarrollaron entre las fuerzas políticas y sindicales que mantuvieron el esfuerzo bélico de la República. [EN] This article deals with publications of the last ten years which have examined the role of women in the Civil War. These studies reveal the decisive action of women on both parts to the conflict, at the front and also in the rear areas. The methodology and sources of local and oral history have led to better understanding of the images, ideology and concerns of women, as well as of the different roles they played in the war. In general studies of Republican women, both famous and anonymous, have predominated due to the interest in recovering the work of the defeated. The discourses on emancipation and the search for equality of the various political forces that kept the war effort of the Republic have also attracted great attention.
