El ser en Tomás de Aquino desde la perspectiva de Cornelio Fabro

Abstract

The names of Thomas Aquinas and Hegel have a prominent place in the history of philosophy. Their metaphysical conceptions rise as two large monuments that summarize the whole culture and thought of an Era. Cornelio Fabro considers that they both have two clearly defined speculative positions which deserve special confrontation with regard to the central problem of Metaphysics: the problem of Being. The present paper aims to show the innovative interpretation of these two great authors made by the Italian philosopher, in order to re-evaluate his exegesis and speculative reflection.

Los nombres de Tomás de Aquino y de Hegel tienen un lugar destacado en la Historia de la Filosofía. Sus concepciones metafísicas se elevan como dos grandes edificios que resumen en sí toda la cultura y el pensamiento de una época. Cornelio Fabro considera que se trata de dos posiciones especulativas bien definidas que merecen una especial confrontación en lo que respecta al problema central de la metafísica, el problema del ser. El presente escrito intenta mostrar la novedosa interpretación de estos dos grandes autores realizada por el filósofo italiano, con el propósito de revalorar su exégesis y reflexión especulativa.
