El Lacus Ligustinus como agente de articulación urbana y conectividad territorial: de las riberas de Hasta regia a Carissa Aurelia y el acceso a la serranía

Abstract

The role of Baetis estuary is analysed as a factor of first urban networks articulation, and territorial connectivity in Antiquity. This approach brings us a greater understanding of the terrestrial communications origins between the urban centres of this area. Also it reflects the progressive historical reorientation of the communication routes, which has generated an actual perception of this geography and their access that are far different from the previous organization in the Protohistory.

Se analiza el papel del estuario del Baetis como factor de articulación de las primeras redes urbanas y de conectividad del territorio en la Antigüedad, acercándonos a una mayor comprensión del establecimiento de las comunicaciones de los núcleos poblacionales de este espacio. Se reflexiona igualmente sobre la paulatina reorientación histórica de los ejes de comunicación, dando como resultado final una percepción actual de esta geografía y de sus accesos muy diferente a la que contribuyó a organizarla desde la Protohistoria.
