Partiendo de la constatación de la manipulación o amaneramiento de los términos referentes a Maquiavelo, el ensayo trata de mostrar cómo la figura de Maquiavelo es un elemento recurrente y hasta central en los Quaderni del carcere de Antonio Gramsci, quien incorpora a su pensamiento sobre el escritor florentino las interpretaciones de otros, contextualizándolas y calificándolas desde los aparatos ideológicos e históricos que las informan, y llega a la conclusión de que Maquiavelo es el conocedor y analista de todos los resortes que conforman ese aparato de poder, que puede llegar hasta los espacios más pequeños, y constituyen un modode vivir, hegemonía.
This essay is based on the finding of manipulation or mannerisms of the terms relating to Machiavelli. Starting from there, it tries to show how the figure of Machiavelli is a recurrent and even central element in the Quaderni del carcere of Antonio Gramsci. This author incorporated into his thinking about the Florentine writer interpretations of others, he contextualizes them and qualifies them from ideological and historical items that inform them and concludes that Machiavelli is the expert and analyst of all the springs that make up that unit of power, which can reach the smaller spaces, and are a way of life, hegemony.
