Sociología y literatura comparada: un camino por recorrer

Abstract

[EN]From middle of the 20th century, the literary sciences have tried to find links with other disciplines that allow them to overcome the immanent analyses of the literary text and to insert it into its sociocultural context, making it possible to arrive at explanations and representations with holistic vocation. The starting point is the belief that the literary text transcends it as far as it proceeds and reverts onto his social space. The present paper tries to present a sociological functional-structural evolved theory, based on Parsons, and to put it in relation with epistemological possibilities that this theory offers to the literary sciences, in general, and to those of the compared literature in particular. For this reason it will be necessary to focus on development that some sociological theories applied to the literature have had over the last decades.

[ES]Desde mediados del siglo XX, las ciencias literarias intentan encontrar vínculos con otras disciplinas que permitan superar los análisis inmanentes del texto literario e insertar este en su contexto socio cultural, de modo que resulte posible llegar a explicaciones y representaciones con vocación holística. El punto de partida es la creencia de que el texto literario se trasciende a sí mismo en la medida en que procede y revierte sobre su espacio social. En el presente trabajo se pretende presentar una teoría sociológica funcional-estructural evolucionada, a partir de Parsons, y reflexionar acerca de las posibilidades epistemológicas que la misma ofrece a las ciencias literarias, en general, y a las de la literatura comparada en particular. Para ello será necesario detenerse en el desarrollo que algunas teorías sociológicas aplicadas a la literatura han experimentado a lo largo de las últimas décadas.
