Presente y Futuro de Fray Luis de León

Abstract

This paper presents an investigation on the state of the art in the studies about the philosophy of fray Luis de León. The article constitutes a bibliographical revision of the investigations that have been done since 1991, the year of fray Luis’s 4th death anniversary. Since it is impossible to include all published papers from recent years, the article proposes a classification of the existing studies in four important sections: commemoration of anniversaries, translations of manuscripts, philosophical studies and conclusions.

El presente artículo realiza un estado actual de los estudios sobre la filosofía de fray Luis de León. El artículo acoge especialmente las últimas investigaciones sobre su obra y pensamiento, muy especialmente aquellas que se han realizado después de 1991, año en que se celebró el cuarto aniversario de su muerte. Como resulta imposible reunir todos los trabajos que se publicaron en este tiempo, el artículo propone una ordenación en cuatro puntosprimordiales; a saber: la conmemoración de aniversarios, la traducción y edición de manuscritos, los estudios realizados desde la filosofía y las conclusiones.
