Percepciones del alumnado respecto al bullying y su relación con la desafección y el fracaso escolar en la provincia de Salamanca

Abstract

[SP] El presente trabajo muestra como algunas variables pueden influir de forma negativa en aquellos alumnos que han sufrido bullying en las aulas, indu- ciéndoles de una manera u otra al fracaso o desafección escolar. La muestra, com- puesta por 856 escolares de tercero y cuarto de la ESO con edades entre los 15 y 16 años se realizó en la provincia y capital de Salamanca. Los porcentajes de los encuestados se presentan muy igualados (50%), tanto en lo que respecta al número de alumnos de ambos cursos como al género. El estudio presenta diferentes definiciones, tipologías y perfiles de los participantes en el bullying, aspectos que consideramos imprescindibles para entender la importancia y gravedad del tema, así como los re- sultados más destacados de nuestro estudio y de las diversas investigaciones realiza- das tanto a nivel provincial como nacional.[EN] The current work shows how some variables can have an adverse effect on students who have suffered bullying in classrooms, influencing them nega- tively one way or another to failure or school disaffection. The study sample, was composed of 856 third and fourth year students in compulsory secondary education, aged between 15 and 16 years, from the province and capital city of Salamanca. The percentages of respondents are very even (50%), both in regards to the number of stu- dents in both years and their gender. The study illustrates different definitions, typolo- gies and profiles of participants in bullying, aspects that we consider essential to un- derstand the importance and seriousness of the issue, as well as the most outstanding results of our study and various investigations both at provincial and national levels
