La prohibición de ir más allá del límite. Una lectura del fragmento 8 de Parménides

Abstract

[ES] En una línea de lectura en clave política del Poema de Parménides, trabajaremos la cuestión del límite en el fragmento 8. Para ello, dividiremos la cuestión en tres movimientos consecutivos: el campo semántico del límite, el campo semántico del exceso y el límite como lazo de unión de los sémata del fragmento 8. Para ello, recorreremos la aparición de peîras en Parménides y sus vínculos con Díke, Moîra, Anágke y thémis desde la iteración de los términos vinculados a déo; asimismo, abriremos la importancia de la prohibición que clausura el camino del desborde del límite. En este último aspecto, trabajaremos sobre los opuestos de peîras y thémis en la épica de la Odisea. Para iniciar el recorrido, haremos unas breves referencias a la épica parmenídea en vinculación con el límite; para finalizarlo, nos apoyaremos en la hipótesis de Mourelatos (2008) que encuentra en la inmovilidad del fragmento 8 el ritmo homérico del lugar propio épico. [EN] Reading Parmenides’ Poem in a political key, we will work the question of the limit in Parmenides’ B8. To go forward it, we will work in three consecutive movements: the semantic field of the limit, the semantic field of the excess and the semantic fields of limit and excess as an unit bond of the sémata in B8. To achieve this point, we will look after the appearance of peîras in the Poem and their links with Díke, Moîra, Anágke and thémis from the iteration of the terms related to déo. At the same time, we will point the relevance of the prohibition that closes the way that overflows the boundary. In this last aspect, we will work on the opposits of peîras and thémis in the epic vocabulary of the Odyssey. To begin the development, we will make some few references to the parmenidean epic in connection to the boundary. To end it, we will work from de hypothesis of Mourelatos (2008) who finds that the attribute of immobility in B8 is related to a proper place in an epic sense.
