Estudio epidemiológico de sobrepeso y obesidad en adolescentes

Abstract

Overweight is a disease which is becoming more frequent among children and adolescents, this high growth is due to a less healthy type of nutrition and way of life. This paper describes the characteristics of two groups of population, acording to age, in children and adolescents, who did a survey of 23 questions where data were extracted in order to anwser questions such as: ¿Which group of population has more prevalence of overweight and obesity? ¿What factors are the most influential in overweight? ¿ Is there relation between IMC and the time spent doing physical activity? ¿ Does the habit of smoking influences in overweight?

El sobrepeso es una enfermedad cada vez más frecuente entre niños y adolescentes, este crecimiento tan elevado se debe a un tipo de alimentación y estilo de vida cada vez menos saludable. Esta trabajo describe las características de 2 grupos de población divididos según edad en niños y adolescentes, a los que se les hizo una encuesta autoaplicada de 23 preguntas de donde se extrajeron los datos para responder a preguntas como ¿En qué grupos de población hay más prevalencia de sobrepeso y obesidad? ¿Qué factores son los mas influyentes en el sobrepeso? ¿Hay relación entre el IMC y el tiempo dedicado a la actividad física? ¿Influye el hábito tabáquico en el sobrepeso?
