dc.description.abstract	It is proposed an exhaustive analysis of the Phoenix myth in the Roman symbolic thought and its evolution from the Greek tradition to the Christian redefinition. For this purpose, we will study each of the main textual, iconographic and epigraphic sources of the Roman period.
