La desprotección invisible, nueva raíz del riesgo social infantil y juvenil

Abstract

[ES] El presente artículo persigue un doble objetivo. Por un lado exhibir la realidad invisible en la que viven algunos niños y adolescentes antes de ser atendidos por los servicios de atención y protección a la infancia y a la adolescencia. Esta parte del artículo recoge algunas de las conclusiones extraídas de los cinco proyectos de investigación financiados realizados por las autoras, desde el año 2005, tanto en España como en Latinoamérica. Por otro lado, el artículo intenta analizar los planes, las medidas y las actuaciones que despliegan estos servicios sociales con un nuevo colectivo de menores en riesgo y dificultad social: las víctimas del maltrato afectivo pasivo. [ES] This article pursues a twofold objective. First, it seeks to render visible the unseen reality in which some children and teens live before they are rescued by the services that care for and protect children and adolescents. This part of the article contains some of the conclusions drawn from the five funded research projects conducted by the authors since 2005 in Spain and Latin America. Second, the article attempts to analyze the plans, measures and actions that social services of this type deploy with a new collective of minors at risk and in social difficulty: the victims of passive emotional abuse.
