Servir y Proteger. Visión ideal de la mujer policía.

Abstract

On the 40th anniversary of the incorporation of women into the State security police in Spain, we ap-proach the analysis of the representation of female officers of the National Police portrayed by the pro-duction of RTVE Servir y proteger (Tirso Calero, 2017-2019, Spain). This study combines the hermeneutic and doctrinal technique of legal science with film analysis. Guided by the objective of elucidating the degree of agreement between the image conveyed by the series, the ought to be proposed by the legal framework and the participation of women in the current National Police, we conclude that the audiovisual product in our study offers an aspirational image that does not yet coincide with reality.

Coincidiendo con el 40 aniversario de la incorporación femenina a la policía de seguridad de ámbito estatal en España, abordamos el análisis de la representación que de la mujer funcionaria del Cuerpo Nacional de Policía hace la producción de RTVE Servir y proteger (Tirso Calero, 2017-2019, España) combinando la técnica hermeneútica-doctrinal propia de la ciencia jurídica con el análisis fílmico. Guiados por el objetivo de dilucidar cual es el grado de concordancia que hay entre la imagen que transmite la serie, el deber ser que propone el marco normativo y la materialidad fáctica que determina el grado de integración y participación de la mujer en el actual Cuerpo Nacional de Policía, concluimos que el producto audiovisual objeto de estudio ofrece una imagen aspiracional que aún no coincide realidad.
