Abstract

El presente trabajo aborda la discusión sobre lasclasificaciones culturales en el noroeste de México y lasimplicaciones de las delimitaciones étnicas a partir decriterios ajenos a los de los propios pueblos indígenas enesta región. Así mismo, reflexionamos sobre la dificultad dela antropología del noroeste de México de generar algúnconcepto heurístico que le permita el análisis sistémico delos grupos que habitan esta vasta región y que ahora se venatomizados a partir de los parámetros establecidos porotros.

In this paper we approach to the argument about cultural classifications in Northwestern Mexico and the implications of cultural delimitation from criteria other than the indigenous people own ideas. At the same time, we wonder about the difficulties in the Anthropology of Northwestern Mexico to found an heuristic concept to make a systematic analysis of the indigenous groups that are settle in this vast region, that have been atomized according to parameters establish by others.
