Anales de la Facultad de educación de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, 3.ª etapa

Abstract

The School of Education of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile was founded in 1942 and, throughout its history, it has had 4 academic journals; the first under the eaves of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters which existed until 1950 with only 6 numbers; the other three publications were published as Annals of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences of Education, 1st stage (1965-1969); Annals of the School of Education, 2nd stage (1972-1973), and Annals of the Faculty of Education, 3rd stage (1979-1992), with about 5 lustrous of existence. This article discusses the content of this last publication, standing out the emphasis it had on its 14 years of history, specifying the different educational disciplines that were addressed as well as the beginning of the dissemination of nascent research that began to be carried out by academics of the Faculty. The period covered by this magazine is special in the country: military dictatorship and return to democracy in peace.

La Escuela de Educación de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile se fundó en 1942 y, a lo largo de su historia, ha tenido 4 revistas de difusión académica; la primera bajo el alero de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, que existió hasta 1950 con solo 6 números; las otras tres publicaciones se editaron como Anales de la Facultad de Filosofía y Ciencias de la Educación, 1.ª etapa (1965-1969); Anales de la Escuela de Educación, 2.ª etapa (1972-1973), y Anales de la Facultad de Educación, 3.ª etapa (1979-1992), con cerca de 5 lustros de existencia. En este artículo se analiza el contenido de esta última publicación, destacando el énfasis que tuvo en sus 14 años de historia, precisando las diferentes disciplinas educativas que se abordaron como, asimismo, el inicio de la difusión de nacientes investigaciones que se comenzaron a realizar por académicos de la Facultad. El período que abarca esta revista es especial en el país: dictadura militar y retorno a la democracia en paz.
