Historia a Debate y la historiografía del siglo XXI

Abstract

In recent years it has been considered that history as a science hassuffered an internal crisis in all areas. This is due largely to the crisis of the major schools ofhistoriography in the late twentieth century, especially the "Annales School" and historicalmaterialism. The purpose of this paper is therefore to highlight the importance of theexistence of schools of history for the good health of our discipline and for the good workof historians. Therefore, at a time when the lack of interest in the great historical paradigmsis very common, the task of some groups of historians like "History under Debate" isessential, especially since it is a common meeting place, an ongoing debate and a diffusioncenter which contributes to a constant rejuvenation of history. In this sense, we seek toestablish a series of conclusions in the light of the recently concluded IV InternationalHistory under Debate Congress and, what can be provided for the younger generation of historians.

En los últimos años se ha considerado que la Historia como ciencia está sufriendo una crisis interna en todos sus ámbitos. Ello se debe en buena medida a la crisisde las grandes escuelas historiográficas a finales del siglo XX, sobre todo la Escuela de Annales y el materialismo histórico. El objeto de esta comunicación es, por tanto, poner demanifiesto la importancia de la existencia de escuelas historiográficas para el buen estado desalud de nuestra disciplina y para el buen quehacer del historiador. Por ello, en un momentoen que el desinterés por los grandes paradigmas historiográficos está a la orden del día, latarea de grupos de historiadores como "Historia a Debate" es fundamental, sobre todoporque constituye un lugar común de reunión y debate permanente y un centro de difusiónque contribuye al permanente rejuvenecimiento de la Historia. En este sentido, se pretendenestablecer una serie de conclusiones a la luz del recientemente celebrado IV Congreso Internacional Historia a Debate y lo que puede proporcionar a las jóvenes generaciones de historiadores.
