Mito e Historia: la rivalidad de dos hermanos

Abstract

Western thought has been oriented towards highlighting the passion for knowledge and not by making relevant knowledge of the passions, ignoring or despising those traditional knowledges in which human beings are submerged since our birth as a genre and as individuals. As history has not only study what happened, but how he felt or thought who participated in what happened, as human beings, agents of history, act driven by passions, the myth is a product of the same. Narrative discourse of history, on the other hand, is not a neutral means to represent events and historical processes, but that is a matter of a mythical conception of reality. It is understood the attraction of the historical discourse if recognition to what extent it makes desirable is real. The word history proclaims ambiguity, combining objective and subjective aspects. Denotes the res gestae, but also the history rerum gestarum, including what happened and also the story of what has happened. The concept of history plays, therefore, the ambiguity that exists in the absence of proper distinction between the object of study, which is the human past, and the plot of the speech that on such an object is displayed. Historical representation employs the imagination and allows the potential reader to leave your imagination to help focus the past. The myth also influences social realities, exerting a legitimating role, or not, as it is the case with the political reality of a city or the prestigious noble family. Therefore, that today already not is should refer to separate clearly between myth and history, as all historical conception has mythical elements. In short, no action the mythical bordering, without some smack of the same is not history, without that it disqualifies it, but that enriches it.

El pensamiento occidental se ha orientado hacia destacar la pasión por el conocimiento y no por hacer relevante el conocimiento de las pasiones, obviando o despreciando esos saberes tradicionales en los que los seres humanos estamos sumergidos desde nuestro nacimiento como género y como individuos. Como la historia no ha de estudiar únicamente lo que ocurrió, sino cómo se sintió o pensó quién participó en lo que acontecía, pues los seres humanos, agentes de la historia, actúan conducidos por pasiones, el mito es un producto de la misma. El discurso narrativo de la historia, por otra parte, no es un medio neutral para representar acontecimientos y procesos históricos, sino que es materia de una concepción mítica de la realidad. Se comprende la atracción del discurso histórico si se reconoce en qué medida hace deseable lo que es real. El vocablo historia proclama ambigüedad, uniendo aspectos objetivos y subjetivos. Denota las res gestae, pero también la historia rerum gestarum, incluyendo lo que ha sucedido y también la narración de lo que ha ocurrido. El concepto de historia reproduce, por consiguiente, la ambigüedad que existe en la falta de distinción apropiada entre el objeto de estudio, que es el pasado humano, y la trama del discurso que sobre tal objeto se despliega. La representación histórica emplea la imaginación y permite que el potencial lector deje que su imaginación contribuya a focalizar dicho pasado. El mito influye, además, en las realidades sociales, ejerciendo un papel legitimador, o no, como ocurre con la realidad política de una ciudad o la prestigiosa de una familia nobiliaria. Es por eso que hoy ya no se debe aludir a una separación evidente entre mito e historia, pues toda concepción histórica posee elementos míticos. En definitiva, sin acciones que bordeen el mito, sin algunos resabios del mismo, no se hace historia, sin que ello la descalifique, sino que la enriquece.
