Análisis de la difusión del patrimonio naval y marítimo en la web 2.0: las herramientas de la Cátedra de Historia Naval

Abstract

The Chair of Naval Heritage and History has developed some resources 2.0 with the aim of bringing to the public the Naval and Maritime Heritage that we have inherited. With the objective of improve the digital bridges layed, we analyze the records of one of those tools, a blog, and the interaction of the entries with another successful tool, Facebook. For it, with a simple of 250 items, we study some aspects like its thematic category and the number of visits received on the blog, as well as likes, shared publications, and comments obtained, both by the blog entries and its replica in the social net. The results show that the topics more consulted, apart of the generic, are: legends and sailors´ myths and Naval Construction History; in the blog we obtain more visits but more disparate, while in the social network get less but more regular; we obtained more amount of likes in Facebook than in the log book, but in both tools they increase progressively; shared publications grow considerably in the last third of the period; comments are more produced in the blog. Finally, we conclude that we have carried out an efficient managemet of the 2.0 communication tools, but to optimized them we have to polish some aspects for the future.

Con el objetivo de hacer llegar a todo el público interesado el Patrimonio Naval y Marítimo que nos ha sido transmitido, la Cátedra de Historia y Patrimonio Naval ha desarrollado una serie de recursos 2.0. Con objeto de perfeccionar los puentes digitales tendidos, se analizan las publicaciones en una de las herramientas generadas, un blog, y su interacción con otra de las que más éxito ha alcanzado, Facebook. Para ello, con una muestra de 250 entradas, se estudian aspectos como su categoría temática y el número de visitas recibidas, así como los me gusta, recompartidos y los comentarios recibidos, tanto por las publicaciones de la bitácora como por sus réplicas en la red social. Los resultados muestran que los temas más consultados, aparte de los genéricos, son leyendas y mitos marineros e Historia de la Construcción Naval; en el blog se reciben un mayor número de visitas pero más dispares, mientras que en la red social se obtienen menos pero más regulares; se obtienen más me gusta en Facebook que en la bitácora, pero en ambas herramientas aumentan progresivamente; los recompartidos crecen considerablemente en el último tercio del período; los comentarios, por su parte, se producen en mayor medida en el blog. Finalmente, se concluye que se ha realizado una gestión bastante eficiente de las aplicaciones de comunicación 2.0 analizadas, pero para optimizarlas de cara al futuro se deben pulir algunas cuestiones.
