«Estaréis alegres en nuestra compañía». Las actividades en los campamentos de la Sección Femenina (1942-1953)

Abstract

One of the most widely promoted initiatives for the young during Francoism were the summer camps and summer hostels. These programmes, through the different activities they offered, had the objective of training young girls and teenagers to be religious, healthy, useful and abnegated. The article centres on the research of the musical activities, to assess in which way they contributed to the process of nationalist and gender construction of Francoism. Whit this objective, an analysis of the girl's magazine Bazar has been carried out, including also several books and flyers edited by the Delegations of the Youth Front and of the Women's Section.

Una de las iniciativas más difundidas destinada a las juventudes durante el franquismo fueron los campamentos y albergues de verano. Estos, a través de diversas actividades, perseguían el fin de formar niñas y jóvenes religiosas, sanas, útiles y abnegadas. El artículo se centra en la investigación de las prácticas musicales con el objetivo de verificar de qué manera contribuyeron al proceso de construcción nacionalista y de género en el franquismo. Para ello, se ha realizado un análisis de discurso de la revista infantil femenina Bazar y de distintos libros y folletos editados por las Delegaciones del Frente de Juventudes y de la Sección Femenina.
