The following article sets out the approach to genre films made in Spain during the 1960s and 1970s, in particular to Spanish thriller that was born in the shadow of giallo. The study is focussed on the work of the filmmaker Eloy de la Iglesia and his three films that made according to the Italian model: The Glass Ceiling (1971), The Cannibal Man (1972) and No One Heard the Scream (1973).
El presente artículo propone un acercamiento al cine de género realizado en España en la década de 1960 y 1970, y en concreto al thriller español nacido a la sombra del giallo. Este análisis se centra en la labor del cineasta Eloy de la Iglesia y en las tres películas que realizó según el modelo italiano: El techo de cristal (1971), La semana del asesino (1972) y Nadie oyó gritar (1973).
