Through this research, a study has been carried out on the geographical and social origino g the different members of the Cathedral Chapter of Seville during the first half of the 19th century. Likewise, following a prosopographic methodology, different conclusions have been established about these originis, also extending this information to their relatives, allowing to know the social promotion policies used by this social group in a broad sense.
Mediante la presente investigación se ha realizado un estudio sobre el origen geográfico y social de los distintos miembros del cabildo catedral de Sevilla durante la primera mitad del siglo xix. Asimismo, siguiendo una metodología prosopográfica se establecen distintas conclusiones sobre dichos orígenes ampliando también esta información a sus familiares, permitiendo conocer las políticas de promoción social empleadas por este colectivo social en un sentido amplio.
