Análisis dinámico del perfil inflamatorio e inmune de pacientes con Síndrome de Respuesta Inflamatoria Sistémica (SIRS)

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo de este proyecto es caracterizar y comparar multiparamétricamente la respuesta del SIRS derivada de traumas múltiples y no traumáticos (infecciones) con el fin de identificar nuevos biomarcadores y evaluar un enfoque terapéutico potencial. Los objetivos específicos propuestos son: 1) analizar la distribución de más de 20 subpoblaciones inmunitarias circulantes. 2) Estudiar la concentración de citocinas inflamatorias, quimiocinas y factores de crecimiento en diferentes momentos desde el inicio del SIRS. 3) Relacionar los datos clínicos y la evolución del paciente con los resultados del análisis multiparamétrico para identificar posibles biomarcadores. 4) Contar y caracterizar las vesículas extracelulares en el plasma y estudiar su contenido de microRNAs. 5) Estudiar los efectos de las condiciones inflamatorias del SIRS en la maduración y diferenciación de los macrófagos sanos, y 6) evaluar el potencial terapéutico de las MSC en este contexto. [EN] The aim of this project is to characterize and compare multiparametrically the SIRS response derived from polytrauma and non-polytrauma (infections) origins in order to identify new biomarkers and evaluate a potential therapeutic approach. The specific objectives proposed are: 1) to analyse the distribution of more than 20 circulant immune subpopulations. 2) To study the concentration of inflammatory cytokines, chemokines and growth factors at different times since the SIRS onset. 3) Relate clinical data and patient evolution with the results of the multiparametric analysis in order to identify potential biomarkers 4) To count and characterize the plasma extracellular vesicles and to study their microRNAs content. 5) Study the effects of SIRS inflammatory conditions on the maturation and differentiation of healthy macrophages, and 6) evaluate the therapeutic potential of MSCs in this context.
