[ENG]Regional integration in South America is a complex issue that involves economic, social, political and cultural aspects. The interest of countries in the region in developing bioceanic corridors is one of the issues related to the topic that has been highlighted in recent years. This thesis seeks to present a proposal for the normative consolidation necessary for the
operationalization of this integration model, based on the analysis of the Bioceanic Road Corridor currently being implemented between Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina and Chile. The research starts from the hypothesis that the legal treatment currently adopted for the operationalization of bioceanic corridors is mistaken and reviews institutionalized regional integration models, such as economic blocs and bioceanic corridors, analyzing their successes and failures. Based on the hypothetical-deductive method and the use of the analytical procedure, the research identifies the regulatory and bureaucratic challenges that affect the
viability of bioceanic corridors, such as customs bureaucracy and the lack of infrastructure. The thesis proposes a methodology for regulatory consolidation in bioceanic corridors, with an impact on legislative treatment by states and the adoption of other procedures. The study concludes that, for effective regional integration, the continued commitment of member states is essential, undertaken through the search for legislative standardization, to be implemented through an international treaty that aims to adapt legislation and reduce bureaucracy, in order to promote legal certainty, regulatory efficiency and harmonious and sustainable development, with the potential to transform the socioeconomic reality of the region
