Biosemiótica: hacia una teoría general de los signos de la naturaleza humana y no humana

Abstract

[Es] La biosemiótica es la síntesis de la biología y la semiótica, y su propósito principal es mostrar que la semiosis es un componente fundamental de la vida, es decir, que los signos y el significado de los signos existen en todos los sistemas vivos. La biosemiótica está experimentando un interés creciente en semiótica, con notables resultados epistemológicos. En este trabajo hacemos un breve análisis de la biosemiótica para resaltar la novedad de esta teoría a la hora de interpretar las señales de la naturaleza humana y no humana. [EN] Biosemiotics is the synthesis of biology and semiotics, and its main purpose is to show that semiosis is a fundamental component of life, i. e., that signs and meaning exist in all living systems. Biosemiotics is experiencing a growing interest in semiotics, with important epistemological results. This paper makes a brief analysis of biosemiotics to highlight the novelty of this theory when interpreting the signs of human and non-human nature.
