Resumen
[EN] This article intends to explore the processes cyclification in the Castilian literary tradition, considering the relationship between epic legends and historiographical texts. It is proposed that the reduced number of Castilian epic poems (compared to the French tradition) and the quick development of romance historiography after Alfonso X turned historical works into the matrix for the creation of literary cycles (specifically on the Cid) or for the acclimatization of cycles of French origin.
