La fachada de la iglesia de San Esteban de Salamanca: proyectos y transformaciones

Abstract

[ES]La fachada de S. Esteban de Salamanca sufrió varias transformaciones desde su plan primigenio -reflejado en traza de la Chancillería de Valladolid- hasta el actual, de mano de los maestros Juan de Álava y fray Martín de Santiago. Se pretende seguir las pistas de estas modificaciones a través de las escasas fuentes gráficas y documentales, pero sobre todo a partir de la observación de la propia obra y la lectura de sus paramentos. También se trata de rastrear la genealogía de cada planteamiento y tipología.
