Yo-máquina, programador de aforismos: los generadores aforísticos de Pedro Barbosa y Ginés Cutillas

Abstract

[ES] En este artículo me centraré en algunosdesarrollos del arte informático aplicados a la generación automática de aforismos, así como reflexionaré sobre la influencia de la creatividad maquínica-algorítmica, celebrada por los escritoresoulipianos, en el sistema literario y en la propia idea deliteratura. Concretamente, analizaré los generadores de aforismos del portugués Pedro Barbosa y del español Ginés Cutillas, Máquinas pensantesy La increíble máquina aforística, dos proyectos que representan respectivamente dos momentos en el desarrollo de estas prácticas: un estadio fundacional ligado al surgimiento y avance de los lenguajes de programación y un segundo estadio en el que se aprecia la integración y funcionamiento de estas “máquinas” en la web.

[EN] In this paper, I will focus on some developments in computer art applied to the automatic generation of aphorisms, while I will also reflect on the influence of the machinic-algorithmic creativity —celebrated, among others, by the Oulipianwriters—in the literary system and in the very idea of literature. Specifically, I will analyze the aphoristic generators Máquinas pensantesandLa increíble máquina aforística, designed by the Portuguese and Spaniard authors Pedro Barbosa and Ginés Cutillas respectively, two projects which represent two stages of these literary practices: firstly, the emergence and prime development of the programming languages; secondly, the integration and use of these “machines” on the website
