[EN]Dear friends and colleagues,
I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Editor-in-Chief of Hearing Research. It is a unique privilege, a great honor and a wonderful challenge to begin my editorship in this journal. First and foremost, I would like to thank our Journal's Editor-in-Chief of the past 14 years, Barbara Canlon, for her invaluable work and dedication.
