Resumen
[EN] The Correspondence of Albar of Cordoba is made up of twenty letters dated around 840 and 861 and written by various authors, mostly Albar himself (12 of them), but also others such as John of Sevilla (2), the abbot Speraindeo (1), Saul of Cordoba (1), a bishop of doubtful identification (perhaps again Saul of Cordoba, 1), and the Jewish convert Eleazar (3). The recent edition of this corpus in the first of two volumes of the Corpus Christianorum dedicated to the Mozarabic writers by Juan Gil is a fundamental milestone in the studies of early medieval Spain. The richness of the sources used by the Mozarabs has always been highlighted and Gil has managed to identify new sources that provide a better knowledge of Christian culture in Arab territory in the 9th Century. This article discusses 242 passages from the Correspondence in order to propose, for the first time, their source of inspiration or to discuss those proposed so far, but also to analyse some passages from these letters that present problems of edition; and includes final indexes.
