Resumen
This paper explores how the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in its death throes, is turning metafictional in the worst possible sense, as a thoroughly narcissistic narrative that can neither acknowledge its decline nor let go of its power, although symptoms of a partial, guilty self-consciousness abound in its recent productions.
