Abstract

Se describe un cuarto ejemplar de Stereogenys salmanticensis que aporta nuevos conocimientos de la especie: completa los que se tenían sobre el peto y añade los del espaldar y cintura pelviana, hasta ahora inéditos. Con esto se compara más perfectamente esta especie con los demás "Pelomedusidos", estableciendo posibles relaciones con representantes portugueses, italianos, franceses, ingleses y norte-africanos, y se sitúa su posicion dentro de la familia.

A fourth issue of Stereogenys salmanticensis is described that gives new knowledge of the species which completes what is already known about plastrom and adds knowledge about carapace and pelvis, until now unpublished with this specie is compared more completely with the rest of the "Pelumedusidae" establishing possible relations with Portuguese, Italian, French, English and North-african representatives and its position is put within the family.
