dc.description	Nota correspondiente al 23 de diciembre de 1953, en la que el autor describe los nichos ocupados por las diferentes aves y mamíferos presentes en un valle del río Pisuerga, en Valladolid capital o sus proximidades, basándose en sus propias observaciones en el campo. En el texto se incluye a los siguientes mamíferos: Apodemus sp. (Ratón), Eliomys sp. (Lirón) y "Pytimis" (llamado así por el autor, siendo posiblemente el actual género Microtus). Los géneros y especies de aves nombrados son las siguientes: Anthus sp. (Bisbita), Carduelis cannabina (Pardillo común, llamada Colorín y Acanthis cannabina por el autor), Certhia sp. (Agateador, también conocido como Chapin), Cyanistes caeruleus (Herrerillo común, llamado Parus coeruleus por el autor), Dendrocopos sp. (Pico, llamado Dryobates sp. por el autor), Emberiza sp. (Escribano), Erithacus rubecula (Petirrojo), Fringilla sp. (Pinzón), Parus major (Carbonero común, también conocido como Chapin), Passer montanus (Gorrión molinero), Phylloscopus sp. dc.description	Note of the 23rd of December of 1953, in which the author describes the niches occupied by the different birds and mammals inhabiting a valley of the Pisuerga River, at the city of Valladolid or its outskirts, based on his own field observations. The mammals included on the text are the following: Apodemus sp. (Field mouse), Eliomys sp. (Dormouse) and "Pytimis" (as refered by the author, being possibly the current genus Microtus). The genus and species of birds cited are the following: Anthus sp. (Pipit), Carduelis cannabina (Eurasian Linnet, refered as Acanthis cannabina by the author), Certhia sp. (Tree-creeper), Cyanistes caeruleus (Blue Tit, refered as Parus coeruleus by the author), Dendrocopos sp. (Spotted Woodpecker, refered as Dryobates sp. by the author), Emberiza sp. (Bunting), Erithacus rubecula (European Robin), Fringilla sp. (Chaffinch), Parus major (Great Tit), Passer montanus (Eurasian Tree Sparrow), Phylloscopus sp.
