Salida de campo del autor con Mr. English a La Capeliére, en la reserva natural de La Camarga (Francia), el 14 de mayo de 1954, de la que se anotaron observaciones sobre las siguientes aves: Acrocephalus arundinaceus (Carricero tordal), Acrocephalus melanopogon (Carricerín real, llamado Luscinia melanophogon por el autor), Acrocephalus scirpaceus (Carricero común), Alectoris sp. (Perdiz), Anas platyrhynchos (Ánade azulón, también llamado Pato bravío por el autor), Athene noctua (Mochuelo europeo), Burhinus oedicnemus (Alcaraván común), Coracias garrulus (Carraca europea, también llamada Azulejo o Canaca por el autor), Cuculus canorus (Cuco común), Egretta garzetta (Garceta común), Emberiza schoeniclus (Escribano palustre), Galerida sp. (Cogujada), Lanius minor (Alcaudón chico), Miliaria calandra (Triguero, llamada Emberiza calandra por el autor), Panurus biarmicus (Bigotudo), Pica pica (Urraca, llamada "marica" y "picarza" por el autor), Sylvia melanocephala (Curruca cabecinegra) y Tetrax tetrax (Sisón común, llamado Otis tetrax por el autor).
Field trip of the author and Mr. English to La Capeliére, at the nature reserve of The Camargue (France), the 14th of May of 1954, of which there were noted observations about the following birds: Acrocephalus arundinaceus (Great Reed-warbler), Acrocephalus melanopogon (Moustached Warbler, refered as Luscinia melanophogon by the author), Acrocephalus scirpaceus (Reed Warbler), Alectoris sp. (Partridge), Anas platyrhynchos (Mallard), Athene noctua (Little Owl), Burhinus oedicnemus (Eurasian Thick-Knee), Coracias garrulus (European Roller), Cuculus canorus (Common Cuckoo), Egretta garzetta (Little Egret), Emberiza schoeniclus (Reed Bunting), Galerida sp. (Lark), Lanius minor (Lesser Grey Shrike), Miliaria calandra (Corn Bunting, refered as Emberiza calandra by the author), Panurus biarmicus (Bearded Parrotbill), Pica pica (Black-billed Magpie), Sylvia melanocephala (Sardinian Warbler) and Tetrax tetrax (Little Bustard, refered as Otis tetrax by the author).
