Este trabajo trata de ofrecer un análisis general del léxico de los documentos de la cancillería de Alfonso X, de su valor para la lexicografía histórica y la historia de nuestra lengua; pero fundamentalmente intenta mostrar cómo este léxico ofrece la misma variación que los niveles fonético y morfológico, esto es, variantes que guardan relación con la lengua de destino de los documentos.
This paper tries to offer a general view or analysis concerning the lexicon found in the documents from the Chancery in Alfonso X s reign. At the same time we try to show the significance and value of the lexicon from the point of view of the historical lexicography and the history of our language. But the purpose of the paper, as well, lies in the fact that the above mentioned lexicon presents the same variations at the phonetic and morphological levels. That is to say, such variations show a close relationship with the language with which all these documents are related.
